KINVARA 5-10 beat MICHAEL BREATHNACH 4-10
It was a cracking match played this evening in Faiche Padraic as Kinvara claimed the first silverware of the 2014 Cruinniu Na MBad. This Junior Hurling final was played with great vigor and spirit and really came alive in the second half after the Connemara visitors led at the interval by 1-6 to 1-5. Both sides gave it their all in the second period and really entertained the spectators, with this match going right down to the wire in an exciting finish.
Kinvara GAA would like to thank Michael Breathnach CLG for making the trip over. It is much appreciated and we wish them well in the rest of their championships.
We would also like to thank Tony Moylan who graced us with his presence and made the cup and medal presentations, aswell as saying a few words.
Thanks to our own Junior B players and management who made the effort this evening. They really wanted to win this match and that could be seen in this efforts on the pitch.
Finally well done to captain Ger Linnane - there wont be a cow milked in Inishroo for a week!
